KAGAWA Prefecture

The Seto Inland Sea is blue and peaceful, its islands are warm in heart and rich in nature, and the magnificent Seto Ohashi Bridge is perfectly situated within here. This, the best of Kagawa, is what we would like you to see and enjoy.
The mild climate and elegant mountains, in addition to the country scenery and reservoirs, is something about Kagawa that travelers can take comfort in while also being a place to relax.
Among our places of interest are Resort Island ( Shodoshima ) known for its olive trees and marine sports; Kotohira with Hot Springs, as well as Kotohiragu Shrine, dedicated to the ancient guardian god of the sea and having a lot of devotees nationwide; and Ritsurin Park which has a three hundred sixty year history as a traditional Japanese garden.
In addition, the Kagawa Welcome Card is available for foreign visitors to save money on accommodations and souvenir shops. Come visit Kagawa and enjoy all the aspects of our prefecture!
